Festival Seva

Sri Venkateswara Brahmotsavam is the most sacred and grand annual festival of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. Celebrated for nine days, this festival draws millions of devotees from across India and abroad. The festivities include daily processions of the presiding deity on various vahanas (vehicles), special alankaram (decorations), and elaborate rituals performed by the temple priests. The highlight is the Garuda Seva on the fifth day, where Lord Venkateswara is taken in procession on the golden Garuda Vahana.

Lathmar Holi at Banke Bihari Mandir in Vrindavan is a unique pre-Holi celebration rooted in the legends of Radha and Krishna. Women playfully beat men with decorated sticks (lathis) while men shield themselves with shields, re-enacting the mythological event from Nandgaon and Barsana. The air is filled with gulal, music, and devotional songs. This festival is a joyful expression of love and devotion and draws visitors from across the world.
