Nestled in the heart of Kundapura town, near Shastri Circle, stands the revered Sri Lakshmi Narayana Temple, a spiritual landmark cherished by devotees for decades. 📜 A Rich History Dating Back to 1946
Sri Lakshmi Narayana Temple was established in 1946 by ten families belonging to the Daivajna Brahmin community. Their vision was to create a spiritual center that would serve society and preserve Sanatana Dharma for future generations.
Located on one of Kundapura’s main roads, the temple has continued to flourish through the dedicated efforts of priests, trustees, and devotees over the years.
🙏 The Presiding Deity – Sri Lakshmi Narayana
The main deity, Lord Lakshmi Narayana, radiates divine serenity and blessings. Along with the presiding deity, the temple houses several sacred parivara (associated) deities, including:
- Sri Mahaganapathi
- Sri Durga Parameshwari
- Sri Nagadevaru
- Navagrahas
- Sri Kalabhairaveshwara
Daily worship is offered to all these deities with great devotion.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this temple is the Trikala Pooja (worship performed three times daily):
